One Adventure Ends and Another Begins
I think we could all consider ourselves blessed if we could find a job we could retire from, one we could wake up everyday and enjoy what we do for a living. Fortunately that is something I am working toward and hope in a few years I can make it my full time job. Until then I will work hard at making that dream come true.
One of the perks of creating bags is the chance to make gift for my loved ones. Just recently my dad retired for the Sheriffs department. I watched him growing up go from a mail carrier, back when they walked the routes and delivered to every house with his carrier bag, then becoming an axillary police officer while going to school and becoming a sheriffs deputy.
I am proud to call this man my father, his motivation to do something he loved drove him to make that dream come true and I hope and pray that I can keep that same motivation. I am not going to lie though, I am beyond happy that it was finally time for him to retire. Night after night putting his life in danger for you and me is scary for the family that loves him.
One of the thing I remember when I was younger is my dad loved to paint and draw so since he has nothing but time now and a birthday that just pasted I decided to give him a gift to start his new adventure. Of course with a bag for his supplies.
I found this cute little quote on Pintrest and it fit him completely all the way down to the NAH,NAH, NAH, NAH. I was able to find a bag perfect for a small sketch book, pencils and a few other supplies to take with him on the go and of course a gift card to get more art supplies.
This blog is dedicated for our families very own Super Hero, you may not be perfect but you are freaking awesome Dad. Happy Birthday and Happy Retirement.
